Hockey Canada is pleased to share new equipment-fit resources, developed in partnership with Bauer, to help support families, players, goaltenders and Minor Hockey Associations with safe and comfortable equipment fitting.

These resources include:

The videos and playbooks were created to provide parent-friendly guidance and practical tips to help ensure that equipment fits properly, safely and comfortably, while making the experience easier and less stressful for families who may be new to hockey.

The player resource includes guidance on key equipment items such as skates, helmet, neck guard, shoulder pads, gloves and stick selection, while the goalie resource focuses on goalie-specific equipment such as pads, chest protector, mask, blocker, glove and goalie stick.

We encourage Minor Hockey Associations to consider promoting these resources within their local communities.  See attached document for the links to the videos and playbooks.

Where feasible, posting the provided web banners on association websites and sharing the videos and playbooks through digital and social media channels can help extend the reach of these helpful tools to families preparing for the season.
