As we prepare for the 2026–27 season, Hockey Canada is introducing The Shift Forward: Evolving Hockey Culture, a new national education program for all rostered staff, officials and parents/guardians.

Developed through consultation with hockey participants across the country, The Shift Forward features modern, role-specific training designed to promote a safer, more positive hockey experience both on and off the ice.

The Shift Forward marks an important step in strengthening hockey culture through education and shared responsibility across the game.
