Articles of the Association and By-laws

On Behalf of the board of directors we are pleased to share with the members our new Articles of the Association and By-Laws to be presented and voted upon at this year's AGM. Please take some time to review this document ahead of next week’s AGM. 

The changes to this document from our previous document formally known as our constitution is driven by governance recommendations from Hockey NL. We will see all associations move to this template for their governing documents. 

Much of what is in this document is simply pulled from our old constitution as it is still very much relevant to the day to day workings of our association. Changes to wording or additions are highlighted in the enclosed document providing rationale as to the change or addition, please review ahead of the AGM. 

The MPMHA Board of Directors has voted on this document and is presenting it to the membership at the AGM to be voted upon and implemented. Should you have any questions please feel free to reach out to a member of the board to discuss.
